BYP is unique, being the only youth club in West Yorkshire which specialises in delivering all of its youth work through the performing arts. We combine the best bits of a theatre school and an amateur dramatics group in a youth club setting.

Working for BYP

Bradford Youth Players employ qualified and experienced staff to work as youth leaders with each of our performing arts youth clubs. All of our staff are checked with the Criminal Records Bereau (CRB), and BYP's procedures are fully commensurate with all child-protection legislation. All of BYP's policy documents, including our child protection policy, can be downloaded below, along with our consitution.

Jobs with BYP will be displayed here with brief details of the post and a link to the full job description. All documents, including a job application form and equal opportunities monitoring form, and BYP policy documents (including those relating to volunteers and child protection) can be downloaded from the documents section below. Informal enquiries can be made to the Executive Coordinator of BYP Youth Groups, Ian Sapiro.

Volunteers are also always welcome - please see our volunteers page.

BYP Partner Organisations

BYP's status as a performing arts youth club affords us the opportunity to develop links with a wide range of organisations. As well as our partnership with Little Lane Church and our commission from the Community Funding Unit, we also work closely with the Arts Department and Youth Service at Bradford Council and we are working hard to develop close links with other youth-focused groups and organisations in Bradford West. BYP also holds membership of the following organsiations:
